Maxine and I fell in love with the beautiful Canary island of Fuerteventura and after several visits and with some trepidation, decided to purchase our own home on the an Island that boasts of 300 sunny days a year. Fuerteventura is a perfect all year round destination, even making swimming in the sea at Christmas a real possibility.
Our villa is perfectly placed for your Fuerteventura / Canary Island experience, situated just 5 minutes south of Corralejo. The villa is also just a 15 minute drive to El Cotillo and a quick 20 minute ferry crossing from Corralejo harbour means the attractions of Lanzarote are also within easy reach.
The villa is detached, has 2 bedrooms, a large lounge diner and a separate kitchen. The garden is completely private and walled on all sides, there is a raised pool and decking area with a good selection of garden furniture. The garden is perfect for relaxing in the warm evenings.
La Capellania, also know as Tamaragua, is a well maintained, quiet location where many people that work in Corralejo live. The community is serviced by a regular bus route into and out of El Cotillo / Corralejo and further afield. There is also a well served Taxi rank, well stocked supermarket and a restaurant within walking distance.
Much of Fuerteventura is still as it has been since it was created by volcanic activity many thousands of years ago and the beaches are often described as being among the best in the world.
